Royal Limoges
Limoges’s Oldest Porcelain Factory, Est. 1797
François Alluaud founded the factory in 1797, and it has worked at the Casseaux site in Limoges since 1816. It still prepares its own kaolin clay, and its old kiln is a listed historic monument. The firm took the name Royal Limoges in 1989 and holds the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label.
