Montes Doggett
White-Glazed Peruvian Pottery from Monica Porter
Monica Porter, who grew up in Mexico and now lives in North Carolina, launched Montes Doggett in 2008. The name combines the maiden names of her mother and mother-in-law. Her white-glazed pottery is made from Peruvian clay by artisans she works beside for weeks at a time developing prototypes, and she adds around 60 new shapes a year.
